Dana Fergins-Hawthorne directs the Thelma DeWitty Honors Program at Wiley University, creating transformative learning experiences for scholars. With over a decade in education and leadership development, she has served as professor, assistant principal, and master teacher. As a published author and TEDx speaker, Dana specializes in leadership development, facilitation, resilience, and personal growth, earning recognition for her excellence in presentation and facilitation. Dana equips leaders, scholars, and organizations with strategies to build resilience, lead with purpose, and create sustainable impact. Her signature book and framework, '7 Rules of Resilience,' has been implemented across collegiate programs, non profits, high school mentoring programs, Rotary Clubs, K-12 counseling programs, professional women’s leadership organizations, and community development settings. As Featured Media for Huffines Broadcast Campaign she has reached an estimated 1.2M+ viewers and listeners across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
