Hey There!

I'm Eva Nika

Eva Nika is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of hospitality leadership experience, rising from journalist in Kosovo to Area Vice President at The Service Companies. She excels in multi-property operations, team development, and process improvement across luxury and high-volume hotels. Known for her people-first leadership, Eva has built a reputation for elevating performance, strengthening culture, and developing future leaders throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Beyond her executive role, Eva is a powerful advocate for immigrant women and emerging leaders. Through mentorship and her inspiring newsletter Your Journey Is Just Beginning, she empowers others to embrace opportunity, build confidence, and rise through resilience.

But before anything else, Eva is a mother to her 4-year-old daughter, a devoted wife, and a daughter who continues to care for and honor her parents. Her family is her beginning, her why, and the foundation of her strength.

Eva’s journey has never been simple. She was once a well-known journalist in her home country — writing cultural stories, performing as a traditional dancer on television, and living a life of creativity and dreams. But life redirected her path in a way that demanded extraordinary courage.

When she arrived in the United States alone, with limited English and no support system, every title she once held disappeared.

The only job available to her was housekeeping.

What could have broken her instead became the moment that defined her future.

Survival was her first battle. Every day, Eva faced a choice: give up, or rise.

She chose to rise.

But rising came with its own challenges. Throughout her career, she was judged for her accent, dismissed, or met with comments like “I don’t understand what you mean.” These moments of pain became fuel. Her accent no longer symbolized limitation — it became a badge of honor, a reminder of how far she had come.

From housekeeping, Eva climbed step by step until she became an Area Vice President overseeing multiple properties and hundreds of employees. She leads with kindness, humanity, and strength — believing that true leadership is about seeing people for who they are, not where they came from.

Her leadership is guided by three personal principles:

Be who you are. Don’t judge. Share what you know.

These words carried her through the hardest chapters of her journey — and now guide the women she mentors every day.

Outside her executive responsibilities, Eva is a storyteller. She writes the series Your Journey Is Just Beginning, is developing a memoir and feature film based on her life, and will soon launch a deeply personal IVF podcast — a safe space for women navigating invisible pain and silent heartbreak. She speaks for them because she was them. She lived that pain. And she rose again.

Eva’s influence is not defined by titles — it is defined by her heart.

She transformed heartbreak into hope, discrimination into determination, and every “you can’t” into a powerful mission to lift others as she rises.

Eva Nika is living proof that even when life forces you to start over — from journalist to housekeeper — your story can still become one of courage, purpose, and unstoppable resilience.
