Alejandra Arriaga is a senior at Baylor University pursuing a BBA in Supply Chain Management. Bilingual and academically accomplished, she has gained hands-on experience in operations, research, and customer service, with skills in data analysis, organizational efficiency, and cross-cultural communication. She is eager to apply her analytical and leadership abilities in supply chain, business operations, brand management, product development, or human resources.
Currently, Alejandra works at H-E-B as a Perishable Representative, supporting department operations and ensuring product quality. She also serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Baylor University, assisting in management research projects and data analysis. Her previous experiences include roles in optometry assistance, shadowing in healthcare, and community volunteer work, reflecting her versatility and commitment to learning.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to growing up as a Hispanic young woman just minutes from the Mexico border and being honored with an outstanding scholarship from the Baylor Alumni Association. Giving back to my community, especially helping immigrants learn English, has been a guiding passion that drives me to create opportunities for others and myself.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, and I’m excited to put that into practice as I prepare to graduate in Spring 2026.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to follow your dreams and stay committed to your goals.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge right now is preparing to graduate with one semester left, while navigating opportunities to explore both supply chain management and a potential future in law.
