Full circle moment. Ten years ago I was attending the CISHRP Conference, one of less than 100 persons in the room. This is a photo of earlier this year, I was invited as a paid international key note speak to present in front of 350 Human Resources Directors in the Cayman Islands.
After being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 28 weeks pregnant, then completing 4 rounds of chemo while pregnant, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl, Josslyn!
This milestone was the most commissions I received at once from the same client/friend for the same home. These art pieces you see became part of a home that served as a sanctuary for my friend and her family during the COVID era. In the end, a complete surrender in gratitude is what I was feeling here.
