About

Raised by a single mother and the first in her family to graduate from college, Terra Boyko’s commitment to equity, access, and opportunity is both personal and deeply rooted. Her lived experience shapes the way she leads, coaches, and partners with organizations, grounding her work in compassion, integrity, and a belief that every learner deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered.

Terra started her career as an educator, carrying forward the resilience, empathy, and determination shaped by her upbringing. As she grew into instructional coaching, professional learning, school and district leadership, and eventually consulting, she held tightly to the belief that meaningful change begins with people feeling supported, valued, and seen. She became known for her ability to turn vision into action, not through mandates, but through relationships, clarity, and a deep belief in what educators can accomplish when they have the right tools and the right support.

Throughout her career, Terra has led multi‑state programs that strengthened college and career readiness, expanded equitable access, and helped educators implement high‑impact instructional practices. Her leadership has been rooted in integrity, compassion, and persistence, qualities shaped by the women who influenced her life and the students who inspired her purpose.

In 2026, Terra founded Boyko Consulting, Training, and Coaching to bring her values and expertise directly to schools, districts, educators, and families. Her work focuses on system‑level improvement, culturally relevant teaching, equity‑driven solutions, and professional learning that empowers educators to create inclusive, transformative learning environments.

Terra continues to serve her community through the Oregon Multilingual Learner Statewide Collaborative and the Salem‑Keizer Public Schools District Equity Advisory Committee, contributing her voice and expertise to efforts that strengthen access, belonging, and culturally responsive practice. As a parent to a Salem‑Keizer student, she brings both professional insight and personal investment to this work, advocating for systems that honor every learner’s identity, needs, and potential.

She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University-Portland and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Midwestern State University.

Terra attributes her success to persistence, passion, and a commitment to lifelong learning, but also to the women who taught her to lead with courage, integrity, and heart. Her dedication to education and her unwavering commitment to equity earned her recognition as an Influential Woman for 2026 and inclusion in Who’s Who of Women Professionals, Bristol’s Who’s Who, and International Society of Femail Professionals, honoring not just her accomplishments, but the impact she continues to make on students, educators, and communities.
