Alyssa Carpinelli

Alyssa Carpinelli is a communication and media studies student at Kent State University, where she is pursuing a concentration in applied communication and is set to graduate in December 2025. Dedicated to growth both academically and professionally, Alyssa recently participated in Kent State’s Global Career Accelerator program—a unique opportunity that connected her with peers nationwide and strengthened her intercultural communication skills. Through this program, she earned multiple certifications in digital marketing, e-commerce, social media management, artificial intelligence, and intercultural skills, reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging communication trends.

Beyond the classroom, Alyssa has cultivated diverse hands-on experience in leadership and customer engagement roles. As a Supervisor at Kent State’s Recreation and Wellness Center, she enhances the member experience through effective communication and community involvement. Her prior roles—as a barista, office assistant, and retail sales associate—taught her the value of adaptability, organization, and teamwork in fast-paced environments. Alyssa currently serves as a Mentor with HOP Connections® | HOP Speed Networking®, where she helps others build confidence and connections in professional networking settings.
