Alyssa Salcedo-Salas, MBA, LSSYB, is a dynamic workforce development leader, HR strategist, and passionate advocate for the military community. Originally from Chicago and now based in Texas, she brings over a decade of experience supporting talent, programs, and mission-focused initiatives across the Defense, Intelligence, and Aerospace sectors. Her background includes sourcing cleared candidates (S/TS), shaping strategic hiring solutions for federal contractors, and designing innovative pathways that empower both organizations and individuals. Blending her expertise in business analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and human-centered leadership, Alyssa is known for building scalable systems that elevate workforce readiness and community impact.

Alyssa is the Founder of NeuroStarz Talent and The Opp Guild—two mission-driven ventures dedicated to bridging opportunity gaps, strengthening veteran and military-spouse support systems, and creating equitable access to career advancement. Her work spans HR consulting, talent strategy, workforce development, instructional design, nonprofit program building, and community advocacy. At VETS2INDUSTRY, she founded and led the Digital Engagement Department, developed volunteer programs, supported mental health and suicide-prevention initiatives, and championed DEI efforts through neurodiversity-focused ERGs. Her commitment has touched thousands across the military, veteran, and neurodiverse communities through workshops, events, partnerships, and hands-on career support.

Beyond her corporate and community leadership, Alyssa is a web designer, children’s book author/illustrator, and strong believer in the positive mental-health benefits of gaming—bringing creativity and connection into her work. Today, she continues to build The Opp Guild into an inclusive career ecosystem featuring job resources, a community marketplace, and a platform designed to empower job seekers and employers alike. She remains deeply committed to serving veterans, military spouses, and underserved talent while supporting organizations through strategic partnerships, workforce development initiatives, talent acquisition solutions, and innovative community learning.
