Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of early experiences, strong role models, and a lifelong love of learning. From the age of 13, I began working in a cornfield, and my dedication and work ethic were quickly recognized—I was promoted to lead a team of four, which was my first real leadership experience. That early opportunity taught me the value of responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance.

I also draw inspiration from my mother, who as a single parent worked tirelessly—sometimes holding three jobs at once—yet never gave up. Watching her resilience and determination shaped my own approach to challenges and reinforced the importance of hard work and commitment.

Today, I am proud to lead a team at Kay Jewelers, where I can help others grow and succeed. I am also a children’s book author, with two upcoming releases, and I am passionate about learning and expanding my knowledge at every opportunity.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that if you can handle difficult people and challenging situations, you will go far in life. Learning to stay composed, adaptable, and solution-oriented in tough circumstances has been invaluable in both my personal growth and professional journey.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are curiosity, growth, and making a positive impact. As a children’s book author, I am passionate about inspiring young minds, and when I’m not working, I love learning and expanding my knowledge. These values guide the way I approach my career and my daily life.
