What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the diverse leadership roles I’ve held at Caterpillar across multiple areas within the supply chain — including procurement, automation, warehousing, and manufacturing — which have given me a holistic understanding of end-to-end operations. I ensure that OEM clients’ needs are fully understood by preparing consultations in advance, reviewing screening questions, conducting in-depth research, and staying informed through trade publications and corporate releases.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor, Bonnie Fetch, Vice President at Cummins — one of the best managers, leaders, and advocates I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. She taught me the importance of leading with empathy, developing others, and maintaining integrity and courage in every decision. Her guidance continues to shape the way I approach leadership and collaboration today.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be persistent and show up as your authentic self every day. Focus on doing your best work today but always keep a clear vision of where you want your career to go. Set your sights high, stay determined, and take ownership of your growth — no one will advocate for you better than you can for yourself.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and trust are the foundation of everything I do — both in my professional and personal life. I believe that doing what’s right, even when no one is watching, builds lasting relationships and genuine respect. Outside of work, I run my own embroidery and engraving business from home, and I’m passionate about animal rescue and fundraising for animals in need. Professionally, I’m most proud of advancing brand recognition and protecting intellectual property, ensuring that every client receives authentic, high-quality parts they can depend on.
