Beth Clark
Beth Clark is an accomplished and resourceful professional with over 27 years of progressive leadership and administrative experience, currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security at Clarkston Community Schools through Secure Environment Consultants. In her current role, Beth oversees all aspects of safety, including emergency response planning for incidents such as active shooter situations, weather emergencies, and online threats, ensuring a secure environment for students and staff. She is committed to implementing best practices and providing practical, actionable safety recommendations across schools, businesses, and community organizations.
Before joining Clarkston, Beth enjoyed a distinguished 26-year career with the Michigan State Police, where she rose through the ranks to serve as Assistant Deputy Director of the Field Support Bureau. In this capacity, she provided leadership to nine divisions, including emergency management, forensic science, and intelligence operations, and played a critical role in advancing public safety initiatives statewide. Throughout her career in law enforcement, Beth consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership, strategic planning, and team development, earning the respect of colleagues and stakeholders alike.
Beth’s journey in male-dominated environments required determination and resilience, proving herself at every step of her career. From mentoring and leading forensic laboratory teams to managing statewide safety programs, she has built a legacy of dedication, integrity, and high performance. Beyond her professional achievements, Beth is passionate about education, mentoring, and empowering others, leveraging her experience to create safer communities and foster the next generation of leaders.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are safety, integrity, and dedication, and in my spare time, I cherish traveling and spending time outdoors with my two dogs.
