Beyond her corporate success, Brenda is the founder of FEAR Life Coaching, a transformational coaching practice that empowers women who have experienced trauma to rebuild confidence, heal from the past, and create purposeful futures. Her journey into life coaching was deeply personal—rooted in overcoming her own challenges and guided by a commitment to helping others rise. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to maintaining a growth mindset—seeing every challenge as an opportunity to learn and evolve. I approach my work with curiosity, resilience, and a drive for continuous improvement, which has allowed me to adapt quickly, innovate under pressure, and grow both personally and professionally. This mindset has been the foundation of my ability to lead with clarity, embrace change, and create meaningful results..
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never give up. Perseverance has carried me through challenges and uncertainties, reminding me that progress often comes from persistence and patience. Staying committed, even when the path isn’t clear, has made all the difference in my growth and success. I live by the mindset: you can either give in, give up, or give it all you’ve got—and I choose to give it all I’ve got every single time.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If I could tell young women one thing about entering this industry—whether it’s pharmaceuticals or life coaching—it’s this: you don’t have to wait until you feel “ready.” The truth is, the most impactful women in both fields aren’t the ones who have it all figured out; they’re the ones who’ve walked through uncertainty, faced their fears, and turned that experience into purpose. In pharmaceuticals, growth often means adapting to change, staying curious, and mastering complex systems that directly affect people’s lives. In coaching, growth means holding space for transformation and helping others rise through authenticity and truth. Either way, your mindset will define your success more than any title or credential ever could. Don’t get caught up in comparison or perfection. Your authenticity is your advantage. Women connect through truth, not polish. Every experience you’ve had—every setback, breakthrough, or moment of doubt—becomes part of your toolkit to lead with confidence and compassion. Also, understand that coaching, like leadership, isn’t about fixing people or processes—it’s about bringing out what’s already strong and valuable within them. Learn to listen more than you speak, lead with empathy, and embody the peace you teach. The more you ground yourself in integrity and personal growth, the more naturally your influence will expand. Finally, build your brand and career around your story. Don’t try to fit into someone else’s mold. Whether you’re driving operational excellence in healthcare or guiding others through personal transformation, own your lane and stay there confidently. Success isn’t about chasing opportunities—it’s about becoming the woman whose presence inspires trust and whose work delivers results..
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and greatest opportunities—in my field right now is visibility. As a life coach, reaching the people who can truly benefit from my work requires a balance of authenticity, consistency, and creative strategy. The coaching industry is expanding rapidly, which brings both competition and possibility. I see this as an invitation to refine my message, elevate my brand, and connect with those who are ready for real transformation. By showing up consistently and sharing my story with purpose, I’m not just growing my visibility—I’m deepening my impact. My focus is on building genuine connection, delivering measurable results, and helping others navigate their personal growth with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the value that guides everything I do, both personally and professionally. As a Senior Contract Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry and a life coach, I believe in being honest, accountable, and consistent in my words and actions. Whether I’m supporting strategic accounts, managing complex healthcare contracts, or guiding clients through personal transformation, I strive to lead with authenticity and uphold my commitments. Integrity builds trust—and for me, trust is the foundation of meaningful relationships, operational excellence, and lasting success. It’s what connects every part of my work: doing what’s right, even when it’s not easy, and showing up with the same level of dedication in every role I serve.
