In her role, she ensures operational objectives are consistently met while fostering meaningful relationships with both members and colleagues. Currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Accounting at Spartanburg Community College, Crystal has been inducted into the National Honor Society of Leadership, a testament to her academic excellence and personal drive. Balancing her studies with a full-time leadership role and motherhood, she views education as a key component of her long-term growth and success. Her goal is to expand her financial expertise and continue advancing within the credit union industry, where she can make a lasting impact on both her organization and the members it serves.

I attribute my success to my desire to be a positive role model for my children. Their presence motivates me to work hard, stay focused, and approach every challenge with integrity and perseverance.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never take anything personally. Business is business, and it’s important to separate emotions from professional decisions. I’ve also learned the value of leaving work at work, maintaining a healthy balance between my professional and personal life.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never give up and stay consistent. Success doesn’t happen overnight—persistence, hard work, and confidence in your abilities will open doors and set you apart in the long run.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me, both professionally and personally, are integrity, honesty, and respect. I believe in doing the right thing even when no one is watching, being truthful in all interactions, and treating others with genuine consideration and fairness.
