What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a lifelong commitment to hard work, determination, and independence. From a young age, I was inspired by my parents’ work ethic and held a job from the time I was 15. Although I majored in Human Resources in college, my path evolved as I discovered my passion for technology a love I’ve had since childhood. My career began in inside sales, then transitioned to field sales, where I truly found my calling. Today, I thrive in developing relationships with manufacturing clients and leading teams in the cybersecurity field. I have learned the value of leading through the talented leaders I work with and take pride in managing and mentoring my team of Channel Sales Managers across North America. Sales, leadership, and fostering strong partnerships are at the heart of what drives me every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that in both business and life, you quickly discover who your true friends are. This lesson has taught me the importance of building authentic relationships, surrounding myself with trustworthy colleagues, and investing my energy in people who support growth, integrity, and collaboration.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: keep going. Stay curious, work hard, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Challenges will come, but persistence, confidence, and a willingness to take initiative will set you apart. Trust your instincts, seek out mentors, and never underestimate the value of your voice and perspective in shaping the future of technology and cybersecurity.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are dedication, balance, and passion. I strive to bring commitment and integrity to everything I do professionally, while also making time for the things I love personally working out, spending time with my dogs, and following hockey. I’m even on a mission to visit every hockey stadium in the U.S., which reflects my love for experiences, goal-setting, and embracing life outside of work.
