Jennifer Wildonger

Jennifer Wildonger is a passionate and experienced horticulture professional currently serving as the Horticulture Manager at Blue Water Landscape in Hobe Sound, Florida. With a strong foundation in biotechnology and integrated pest management (IPM), Jennifer brings science-based strategies to the landscaping industry, blending innovation with sustainability.
Jennifer’s career spans over a decade in agricultural research, biological control, and compliance. She spent nearly eight years with the USDA Agricultural Research Service, where she developed a deep interest in biological control agents (BCAs), entomology, and plant pathology. These early experiences laid the groundwork for her IPM-focused career, which includes leadership roles in companies like Terviva and Fernlea Flowers. In each position, she has prioritized environmentally conscious practices and quality control.
In her current role, Jennifer applies her knowledge to enhance landscape practices with a scientific lens, focusing on plant health, pest control, and sustainable management systems. Her hands-on approach and dedication to continuous learning drive her success in cultivating healthy ecosystems and leading high-performing teams.
Jennifer holds degrees from Keiser University-Ft. Lauderdale and Indian River State College. She has also contributed to USDA-funded research projects and has remained actively involved in DEI efforts through her volunteer work on USDA’s diversity committee.
