Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the personal experiences that shaped my passion for family law—particularly being a survivor of childhood domestic violence. That journey instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to helping families navigate the legal system with compassion and clarity. I focus on divorce, custody, and child support matters, with a special interest in cases involving children with developmental disabilities. I'm also proud to stay connected to my community through my work with Manchester Professional Women for Good, where we support local nonprofits through quarterly giving.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the legal field is to be kind and respectful to everyone you meet. You never know their story, and in this profession, empathy goes a long way. Everyone deserves to be heard—clients, colleagues, and even opposing parties—and that mindset can set you apart in both your personal and professional growth.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is practicing across both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Each state has its own procedural rules and legal nuances, which require a high level of adaptability and a commitment to continual learning. While it can be demanding, it also allows me to broaden my expertise and better serve clients in both jurisdictions.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In both my work and personal life, I prioritize compassion, patience, and understanding. I believe every client’s story is unique and deserves to be heard with empathy and treated with respect. These values guide my approach to family law and help me build meaningful, trust-based relationships with the people I serve.
