Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a diverse career path that has given me deep insight into trauma and mental health across all ages. My experience in criminal justice and education shaped my commitment to supporting those in crisis. Transitioning to private practice has allowed me to help others on my own terms, and I’m passionate about expanding my practice and mentoring future therapists. Above all, I believe in the importance of self-care—because you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are compassion, integrity, and balance. I believe in showing empathy and honesty in all that I do, while also prioritizing self-care and meaningful connections. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending quality time with my children and grandchildren—family time is truly what grounds me.
