Mirna Mkhanna

Myrna has worked across multiple countries and industries, beginning her career as an assistant engineer in Russia, then as a project manager in a design company, and now serving as an assistant project manager in the U.S. Myrna considers her ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously to be her greatest achievement. She has also earned reference letters from previous directors recognizing her work ethic and performance.

While the conversation did not include her direct response to this question, she noted that construction remains a competitive and evolving industry with increasing opportunities for women in leadership.

Myrna shared that the industry, once male-dominated, is becoming more inclusive, particularly in project management and director-level positions. She encourages young women to believe in their capabilities and pursue opportunities with confidence.

Myrna enjoys traveling and has visited Dubai, Texas, Washington D.C., Miami, and Boston. She expressed interest in expanding her work-related travel opportunities as she grows with her current company.
