What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being goal-driven and having incredibly supportive parents who always encouraged me to aim high. I’ve set high standards for myself and believe in the importance of continuous learning. Most of all, I’ve focused on building a career that feels fulfilling—something that inspires me rather than feels like work.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always honor the fact that everyone sees the world through a different lens. Embracing diverse perspectives has not only shaped my leadership but also allowed me to grow with empathy, resilience, and purpose.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the marketing industry is to explore different areas—whether it’s social media, design, content, or analytics—so you can discover what truly excites you. Don’t let the absence of a formal marketing degree hold you back; experience, curiosity, and creativity go a long way. Most importantly, believe in yourself. Confidence is powerful—it can open doors, help you take risks, and push you closer to your goals.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in marketing today—especially on a personal level—is navigating perfectionism. It’s easy to get caught up in wanting every campaign, graphic, or post to be flawless, but that can sometimes slow progress or hinder creativity. I’ve learned that done is often better than perfect, and that growth comes from testing, learning, and iterating. Embracing imperfection has opened up more opportunities to experiment and evolve in my work.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my work and personal life, I value creativity, compassion, and community. Whether I’m diving into a new DIY project or organizing Christmas care packages for those in need, I find purpose in creating and giving back. I also prioritize making space for joy—like spending time with my dog—and supporting causes that matter, such as my annual donations to the March of Dimes. These values help keep me grounded and aligned with what truly matters.
