What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to growing up around construction, learning firsthand from my father, who was a construction superintendent. Being exposed to the industry from an early age gave me a deep understanding of the work, the importance of safety, and the value of strong leadership. Those early experiences instilled in me a passion for creating safe, efficient work environments and have guided my career as I continue to grow and lead in the construction safety field.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never give up and to focus on doing what I love. Staying persistent through challenges and pursuing work that aligns with my passion has been key to my growth and fulfillment in my career.

My advice to young women entering the construction industry is to stay passionate about what you do and never underestimate the value of continuing your education. Building your knowledge and skills not only enhances your expertise but also opens doors to leadership opportunities and long-term career growth in this dynamic field.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the construction safety field is managing long work hours while maintaining strict safety standards. At the same time, there is a significant opportunity to continue prioritizing and elevating construction safety across projects, ensuring that every team member goes home safely at the end of the day.
