What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to following my passion and embracing the opportunities that align with it. My journey—from clinical psychologist to producer at Fox News Sunday—reflects a commitment to pursuing what truly excites me. During the pandemic, I rediscovered my childhood love for journalism, guided by my grandfather’s advice to never dread going to work. Today, that guidance is my reality: I end each day fulfilled and motivated by a deep passion for what I do.
As a Hispanic woman, one of my proudest accomplishments is claiming my space and using my voice in a prominent arena. I strive to show what is possible while inspiring others to do the same. At the heart of my work is a dedication to the human story, ensuring that every voice is heard and every story has a platform.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is finding new ways to tell stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Staying current in a rapidly evolving media landscape requires creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to explore different formats and perspectives. In my free time, I enjoy reading and painting, which help me recharge and inspire fresh ideas for my work.
