Relationship Manager
Beverly Hills Private Wealth
Beverly Hills, CA 90212

Shirley is a seasoned Relationship Manager at Beverly Hills Private Wealth, bringing more than 15 years of experience in private wealth management and client service. In her role, she supports the firm’s mission of delivering highly personalized financial planning and wealth management solutions that help clients feel informed, confident, and prepared for the future. Her career spans senior relationship management and associate financial planning roles at firms including Libbie Agran Financial Services (now part of HoyleCohen, LLC), where she built a reputation for precision, empathy, and exceptional client care. Shirley holds a B.A. from UC Irvine in Political Science, Sociology, and Education, a multidisciplinary foundation that continues to inform her people-centered approach.

At the core of Shirley’s professional philosophy is a deep belief that financial literacy is a life-changing skill. Throughout her career, she has actively volunteered as a financial literacy instructor, teaching both elementary students and adults through organizations such as Curtis School and nonprofit programs supporting families in transition. While her work today focuses on relationship management rather than direct investment advising, she plays a vital role in retirement planning support, client education, and ongoing service—ensuring complex financial concepts are communicated with clarity, care, and respect.

Shirley thrives in collaborative, independent environments and is proud to be part of the BHPW team, which blends institutional-level resources with the personalized attention of a boutique RIA. She is committed to continuous learning, staying current through industry conferences, webinars, peer collaboration, and close monitoring of regulatory and tax changes. Outside of work, Shirley values balance and wellbeing, spending quality time with her young daughter, practicing Qigong, and prioritizing holistic health. Grounded in gratitude and purpose, she approaches her career as a lifelong journey of growth, service, and empowerment.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I don’t define success by a single accomplishment. Instead, I attribute my success to a relentless commitment to growth—continuously deepening my understanding as laws, markets, and the broader financial landscape evolve.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are family, balance, and overall wellbeing. Outside of work, I am deeply grounded in my role as a mother and have thoughtfully adapted my priorities to align with this stage of life. I believe holistic health—mental, physical, and spiritual—is essential to showing up fully both personally and professionally. Practices like Qigong, which combines mindful movement, breathing, and meditation, help me cultivate clarity, resilience, and inner calm, allowing me to stay present, focused, and balanced in all that I do.
