Trisha Lamblin is an experienced administrative professional whose career reflects more than a decade of dedicated service across higher education, nonprofit, and public-sector environments. She currently serves as an Executive Assistant in the Finance Department at the University of Nebraska Foundation, where she supports executive services and accounts payable functions. Known for her organization, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex administrative needs, she plays a key role in helping the Foundation’s financial operations run smoothly.

Before joining the Foundation, Trisha spent nearly eight years at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in progressively responsible roles, including Customer Service Representative, Student Support Specialist, and Assistant Coordinator of Processing. Her earlier career included administrative positions with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Ameritas Investment Corp., and Cabela’s, where she developed strong customer service skills and built the foundation of her professional expertise. Throughout these roles, she has been recognized for her reliability, communication skills, and commitment to supporting both colleagues and organizational goals.

Trisha is completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Doane University, with a focus on human resources and business. She also holds an Associate’s degree in Office Professional from Southeast Community College. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, she continues to expand her professional network and remains actively engaged in her workplace community. Her career reflects a consistent dedication to learning, service, and the pursuit of opportunities that strengthen the organizations she supports.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay true to myself and always understand why I do what I do. That guidance has shaped my career decisions and helped me maintain a strong sense of purpose throughout every stage of my professional journey.

I encourage young women entering this industry to lean into who they are, ask questions, and pursue roles that truly align with their passions. Professional fulfillment comes from connection and purpose, not just checking tasks off a list. When you stay curious, authentic, and intentional about the work you choose, you set the foundation for a meaningful and rewarding career.

I see significant opportunities in improving systems, strengthening cross-department communication, and streamlining financial processes. These are areas where teamwork and careful coordination can make a meaningful impact, helping organizations operate more efficiently while supporting the people they serve.
