Zaynab Alnassari is a remarkable young scholar and leader whose journey reflects both academic brilliance and deep social impact. Born and raised in the United States, Zaynab began taking college-level courses around the age of 13, a testament to her intellectual drive and early commitment to higher education. Now a pre-medical student at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), she is majoring in Biology with minors in Arabic, Art, and Science (Chemistry emphasis). Zaynab has gained recognition not only for her academic research—such as her work on the experiences of Muslim students in biology education—but also for her commitment to diversity and inclusion within STEM fields.

Her leadership is equally impressive. She was elected into the MTSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) as a student representative, where she advocates for equity and student voice on campus. Zaynab's work has earned her multiple accolades, including the Women’s History Trailblazer Award and the Impact Catalyst Award, underscoring her dedication to making change in and beyond the classroom. Whether through developing platforms like L.E.A.R.N. to expand research access or mentoring students across a wide range of subjects, Zaynab continues to shape a path that blends science, advocacy, and service—positioning her as an inspiring force for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
