With over a decade of experience at Vistar, Megan has grown through multiple roles—starting as a Customer Service Lead and Regional Buyer before taking on her current leadership position. Her expertise lies in fostering high-performing teams, optimizing service processes, and developing customer-focused strategies that drive revenue and operational success.
Megan’s background in computer systems networking, combined with her experience in both customer service and supply chain functions, has equipped her with a unique blend of technical insight and people-first leadership. She holds an Associate’s degree from Brown Mackie College-Kansas City and has also volunteered as an assistant coach at Hero Martial Arts, mentoring students of all ages. Megan’s professional path reflects her deep commitment to building lasting customer relationships, developing her team, and continuously improving service excellence across the board.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to strong work ethic, good communication skills, always learning new things on my own and adapting to new situations. I was able to grow from 18 out of all our locations to 3rd in our Vistar company in my Department.

Act like you have the job you want!
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never give up and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Set your mind to it and keep driving.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Perseverance, Dependability and Trust. All of these core values I have both in and outside of work. Bring a 1st Martial an artist you have to commit everyday and train and never give up even it seems hard.
