I attribute my success to the experiences and growth I’ve gained over my 16 years at Progressive Insurance. Starting as a catastrophe adjuster and progressing to leading a team in the represented claims unit, I have learned the importance of adaptability, leadership, and attention to detail. Each role has provided me with invaluable insights into managing complex challenges, collaborating effectively, and driving results, all of which have shaped my professional journey and contributed to my achievements.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of my Catastrophe Managers gave a presentation on protecting your brand, that really stuck with me. Your professional brand is the reputation, image, and identity you cultivate within your workplace, industry, and network. It encompasses your skills, work ethic, values, and the way you interact with others. Protecting and maintaining your professional brand is essential for long-term career growth, building trust, and ensuring your contributions are recognized and valued. A solid professional brand opens doors to new opportunities, builds lasting relationships, and positions you as a respected and influential professional in your field.
