Ten minutes with Acynthia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a passion for empowering others—especially women—to reach their full potential, combined with a deep commitment to preserving Black West history and serving through leadership. Those two missions have guided my work, fueled my purpose, and allowed me to make a meaningful impact in the communities I serve.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to be intentional about who you work hard for, carefully choose the communities and networks you join, continuously develop your leadership skills, and remain open to entrepreneurship as a path to creating your own opportunities and legacy.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field is helping clients navigate the increasing complexity of employee benefits and ensuring they fully understand their options. At the same time, there are tremendous opportunities for women in entrepreneurship, personal branding, and networking, though long-term success requires a willingness to consistently invest in relationship-building and sales efforts.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are empowerment, leadership, community, and education, with a strong belief that success is built through surrounding yourself with the right village and helping others grow along the way.
