I attribute my success to integrity, honesty, and consistency in my work, always striving to do the right thing for patients even when it’s difficult. Staying organized, focused, and compassionate under pressure has allowed me to build trust and achieve better outcomes.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to say yes to opportunities that challenge me and to trust that growth comes from stepping outside my comfort zone. With the support of mentors who believed in me, I learned that leadership is built through consistency, compassion, and a long-term vision for making an impact.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take things one day at a time and don’t let the pace or pressure of healthcare overwhelm you. Be patient with yourself, learn from every experience, and stay true to your values as you grow professionally.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The home health industry is highly competitive, with ongoing challenges around staffing, maintaining quality of care, and meeting regulatory demands. At the same time, there is a strong opportunity for leaders who prioritize ethical care, meaningful patient relationships, and the development of strong clinical teams.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, compassion, and service are the values that guide both my work and personal life. They influence how I care for patients, lead my team, and stay grounded through volunteering, church involvement, and time with family and friends.
