Ten minutes with Adalia
01What do you attribute your success to?
The mindset and commitment of not quitting even when it gets tough. My faith keeps me grounded when I experience challenges. Knowing the difference between knowing that you can do something and then actually doing it, believing that and having the faith and the commitment to follow through.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't burn bridges. Always operate with the highest form of character and integrity. You don't do a good job just because somebody's watching. You're doing a good job because it matters.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Pace yourself. Don't compare yourself. And find your own voice. Pay attention to what you're doing and not what everybody else is doing. Get a mentor.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Affordability with homes. New buyers facing income challenges, credit issues, interest rates. Educate people on navigating the market creatively despite barriers.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Peace. Listen to my internal GPS to check if opportunities are aligned with my life and where I ultimately want to go.
