About Adalys
My career in the dental field began about 7 years ago in an unexpected way. After losing my call center job during COVID, I submitted my resume and landed a front desk position at a dental office with absolutely no experience. I took it upon myself to learn and grow where I was, picking things up really quickly. I learned to schedule patients, provide customer service, and mastered all the dental codes and procedures that I didn't know at the time. It was really interesting and fun to me, and I started becoming more of a leader in the company. From there, I moved to an Endodontics practice, which is a specialty of dental, where I learned so much more. I was handling accounts for the doctors and dealing with the business side of dentistry. The doctor and I worked hand-in-hand, learning and growing together, and it was amazing. I was able to learn not only the dental field but also the business aspects of what a business needs to run perfectly, including phone lines, software, verification of insurances, posting claims, and AR reporting. I'm now relocating to Dominican Republic and considering opening my own business that verifies insurances for dental companies, using all the knowledge I've gained.
