About Adina Beth
Adina Beth Rubin, MSW, CSWA, QMHP, CADC-I, is an accomplished social worker and behavioral health provider based in Portland, Oregon. With over a decade of experience in mental health care, addiction counseling, and social work, she has developed expertise in trauma-informed therapy, holistic wellness, and integrating traditional and alternative medicine approaches. Adina Beth earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) in Social Change and Innovation from the University of Southern California, where she focused on researching and designing solutions that improve access to care and positive, permanent outcomes for diverse communities. Her professional journey is informed by her military service, experience in hospitality, and dedication to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges holistically. Throughout her Social Work career, Adina Beth has held clinical roles across a range of settings, including PHP, IOP, and outpatient programs, as well as digital health platforms. In 2024 and 2025, she served as the Mental Health Program Supervisor and Primary Therapist at Crestview Recovery. Adina Beth's approach emphasizes uncovering root causes of anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges, helping clients move from minimal functioning to actively pursuing social, educational, and personal growth. She integrates mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and wellness practices into her therapy sessions, modeling the skills she teaches her clients to manage stress and foster resilience. She is currently available to provide individualized therapy and behavioral health treatment within an established agency or clinic. She has her own NPI#, is registered with CAQH, and is empaneled with many insurance providers. Adina Beth is looking forward to expanding her non-clinical practice into social impact consulting. She is a knowledgeable program designer and innovator, creating holistic care models that bridge traditional frameworks with newer blueprints. She is actively involved in professional networks focused on behavioral health, recovery, and social change, including the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers and the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon. Through her own venture, The Center of the Cosmos, Adina Beth synthesizes and integrates her lived experience together with her clinical/business knowledge to write articles, curriculum, and educational content. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys Latin dancing, horseback riding, beach walks, and spending time with the ocean, while cherishing personal milestones such as driving her 2010 Dodge Challenger, 6-speed manual, with her service dog, Reba, perched regally in her throne in the front seat. Her dedication to compassionate, comprehensive care reflects a lifelong commitment to helping others thrive emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the breadth of my social work education, the depth of my clinical training, my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships, my commitment to evidence-based practice, and my passion for creating accessible, collaborative care environments.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering behavioral health to pursue continuous learning, stay curious, embrace collaboration, and always center compassion and respect in both their clinical work and professional relationships.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see the biggest challenge in my field as addressing systemic barriers to mental health access. At the same time, the greatest opportunity is building capacity across disciplines by using technology and integrative care models to deliver personalized support to more people in need.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life include compassion, integrity, collaboration, cultural humility, and a steadfast belief in social justice, as well as in the potential for healing and growth in every individual.
Outside of work, I am passionate about community engagement, mental health advocacy, and fostering creative self-expression and resilience in others, drawing inspiration from both traditional healing practices and holistic approaches to well-being.
