Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to making intentional career choices, building a broad range of HR skills across diverse industries, and maintaining a strong sense of adaptability as I navigate changing professional environments.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never assume anything and to always ask questions.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is that HR is often undervalued despite its critical role in organizational success, and the demands placed on sole HR practitioners can be significant, as they are responsible for operations, compliance, coaching managers, and managing the full employee lifecycle. At the same time, remote work has created both challenges and opportunities, particularly in developing reliable onboarding and offboarding processes, a need that became especially clear during COVID as organizations adapted to more flexible and digital work environments.
