01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is, “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” This advice has guided me to pursue my passions, remain dedicated to continuous growth, and find purpose in my work. I believe that when you are genuinely passionate about your career, challenges become opportunities to learn, and success becomes a reflection of the commitment and enthusiasm you bring to everything you do. By following what inspires me, I have been able to build a fulfilling career centered on purpose, dedication, and making a meaningful impact.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges I have encountered throughout my career is navigating the complexity of the healthcare system, particularly for individuals and families who face barriers to accessing care. Many people, especially those in immigrant communities, struggle to understand available resources due to misinformation, language barriers, or the stigma surrounding social services. I see these challenges as opportunities to educate, advocate, and empower communities by providing guidance, building trust, and helping individuals confidently access the support and care they need. My goal is to continue creating pathways that make healthcare more accessible, inclusive, and equitable for everyone.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Transparency is the value that is most important to me in both my professional and personal life. I believe in being honest, accountable, and ensuring that I never make promises to my clients that I cannot keep. I prioritize providing clear information, educating individuals throughout the process, and maintaining strong professional boundaries while upholding HIPAA compliance and protecting their privacy. My commitment is to ensure that no one falls through the cracks of the system by offering guidance, support, and advocacy so that every individual has access to the resources and care they deserve.
