Adriane McDonald, BSN, RN

Adriane McDonald, BSN, RN, is an accomplished registered nurse, hair restoration specialist, and entrepreneur with nearly 40 years of experience in the medical hair restoration industry. She began her nursing career in the operating room, where she developed extensive expertise in surgical care before dedicating her professional career to hair restoration and regenerative medicine. In March, Adriane founded Ciani Roots Medical, a specialized hair loss and regenerative treatment center focused on education, personalized patient care, and innovative solutions. Throughout her career, she has worked with men and women experiencing hair loss associated with genetics, hormonal changes, aging, menopause, stress, and medical treatments, with a particular interest in helping women experiencing hair loss associated with GLP-1 treatments. Her practice offers comprehensive consultations and scalp analyses, along with PRP, regenerative and stem cell based therapies, laser treatments, and hair transplant procedures.

Adriane's approach to hair restoration is rooted in understanding the individual patient and addressing the underlying causes of hair loss rather than simply treating its appearance. She is passionate about educating patients on the differences between medical hair restoration and cosmetic solutions, as well as identifying practices that may contribute to hair damage, including traction caused by hair extensions. She also provides education and training to physicians and medical practices interested in incorporating hair restoration services into their practices. One of the most rewarding experiences of her career was helping a woman restore her hair through regenerative treatment and witnessing the significant improvement in the patient's confidence and personal relationships. For Adriane, the experience reinforced her belief that hair restoration is about far more than appearance; it can have a meaningful impact on a person's confidence, identity, and overall quality of life. As both a clinician and business owner, she has embraced the challenges of building a specialized practice, earning patient trust, staying current with rapidly evolving technologies, and balancing clinical care with entrepreneurship.

Adriane remains committed to advancing her expertise through continuing education and innovation. She participates in the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and is currently pursuing her trichology certification, further strengthening her knowledge of scalp and hair disorders. Through Ciani Roots Medical, she continues to incorporate advanced laser technology, regenerative treatments, and evidence-based approaches to provide patients with individualized options for improving hair health, increasing thickness, and reducing shedding. Her upcoming grand opening on August 27 represents an exciting milestone as she introduces her specialized services to the local community. Outside of her professional life, Adriane enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Italy, and photography. Recognition through the Influential Women program is especially meaningful to her because it allows her to share her accomplishments with her children while demonstrating the value of perseverance, dedication, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
