Adrienne Markey is a recent graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned a B.A. in English Literature and Spanish. During her time at CU Boulder, she engaged deeply in research and community work, completing an interdisciplinary honors thesis exploring the connection between literature and empathy, and conducting projects that examined the social implications of pre-modern racial constructs. She also enriched the campus community as an Arts and Sciences Ambassador, helping prospective students navigate their academic journeys. Adrienne is a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and the liberal arts.

Currently, Adrienne serves as a Chief of Staff Fellow with Dream Tank and the Spiral Guardianship Council, where she supports youth-focused initiatives that promote creativity, social impact, and community engagement. Her work includes facilitating mentorship programs, coordinating events, and advancing systems-change projects that empower young changemakers to design and implement solutions to real-world challenges. Additionally, she contributes to the Denver District Attorney’s Office as a Victim Advocate and Spanish-language interpreter, providing trauma-informed support and bridging language barriers to ensure equitable access to justice.

Looking ahead, Adrienne is preparing to pursue law school in 2026, aiming to combine her academic background, advocacy experience, and leadership skills to advance justice and expand opportunities for marginalized communities. Passionate about education, equity, and civic engagement, she also volunteers extensively in classrooms and learning centers, supporting Spanish-speaking students and fostering inclusive learning environments. Through both professional and volunteer work, Adrienne is dedicated to creating meaningful impact across communities and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
