Afua O-Nyako is a seasoned clinical research professional with over a decade of experience in the medical and healthcare industry. She currently serves as the Senior Manager of Clinical Research at Sight Sciences, Inc., where she leads and oversees clinical studies that advance ophthalmic innovations. Afua’s career began with foundational roles in clinical research and operations at organizations including Abbott and Johnson & Johnson Vision, where she honed her expertise in study design, site management, and regulatory compliance. A graduate of San José State University, Afua holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry, as well as a Master’s degree in Medical Products Development Management. She has continually leveraged her education and experience to drive clinical innovation and improve outcomes for patients, while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
