I served as an ambassador for the Parliament of the World Religions, gathering with people from hundreds of faiths to address global change through spirituality.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Ahriana
01What do you attribute your success to?
A tough childhood that made me strong and a strong intuition that guides my decisions. I have an inner voice that says yes or no that I've learned to trust.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do it your own way. My father said everyone will try to tell you how you should do what you do, but you are not meant to be anybody else. Also, think whatever you want, but don't let it fall out of your mouth.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Slow down. Take your time. Find the joy in what you're doing. Engage in self-care and move at a pace that allows joy, because joy is foundational to your deepest level of creativity.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is taking time to be qualified and real, as many quick 6-week certifications do not prepare one adequately. The opportunity is to help people by asking good questions and creating safe spaces for their own transformation if you pursue proper study and mastery.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, allowing you to be your true self and bring out your inner genius. Also mastery, pursuing excellence in your craft without settling for less, as it leads to continuous improvement and enjoyment.
