Aida Davalos

I am an accounting and financial services professional with over fifteen years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory services, currently serving as Director of Accounting at Argon Accounting, a self-employed role I have held since October 2018, where I provide accounting consulting services to small business owners including full-cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation and analysis, business taxes, business start-up advisory services, QuickBooks Online accounting services, individual tax preparation and tax audit services, and financial planning advisory services. I am an authorized e-file provider by the IRS.

Prior to this role, I served as Accounting Manager at Southern Management Companies for five months, as Operations Associate at Strategic Investment Group for over three years, where I focused on business process improvement and employee training, and as Accounting Manager at Billy Casper Golf for nearly seven years, where I progressed from Accountant to Senior Accountant to Accounting Manager. I also served as Staff Accountant at The Carlyle Group for over a year.

I hold an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Accounting, Marketing, and Information Technology from George Mason University's Costello College of Business, where I founded the Azucar GMU Salsa Club and was a member of the Hispanic Student Association, American Marketing Association, and Beta Gamma Sigma. I also hold an Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute and an AFSP Annual Filing Season Program certificate from the IRS.
