Her Interview

Ten minutes with Aihui

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the inspiration and example set by my mother. Her resilience, determination, and strength taught me the importance of perseverance and believing in myself, even when facing significant challenges. As an immigrant entrepreneur, I learned to remain resourceful, optimistic, and relentlessly driven. Those qualities, combined with my willingness to keep learning and pushing forward, have enabled me to build successful companies, raise venture capital, and achieve successful business exits.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to focus. Maintaining clarity on what truly matters allows me to avoid distractions, make better decisions, and consistently execute against my long-term goals. I believe that disciplined focus is one of the most powerful drivers of success for both entrepreneurs and business leaders.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is simple: never believe in the word "impossible." I came to the United States as an immigrant without an Ivy League education, and many people believed those circumstances would limit my opportunities. Despite those assumptions, I successfully raised venture capital, built and exited a company for millions of dollars, and continued building new ventures. Do not allow other people's expectations to define your future. Believe in yourself, remain resilient, and pursue your goals with confidence because your background does not determine your potential.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is that women remain underrepresented in the AI industry, and it is still common to walk into rooms where the majority of leaders are men. However, I view this as an opportunity rather than a disadvantage. Being one of the few women in the room allows me to stand out, bring a unique perspective, and differentiate myself. I believe greater visibility for women in AI will continue to inspire future generations while creating more diverse leadership across the technology industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity is one of my most important values. I believe in staying true to who I am while building businesses that create meaningful value for both customers and employees. I strive to foster environments where people feel supported, empowered, and successful. For me, sustainable success comes from combining innovation with integrity while ensuring that customers receive exceptional experiences and employees have the opportunity to thrive.
