Aileen Hernández Morales is a Strategic Leader in Digital and Enterprise Transformation, currently serving as Process Improvement Lead at Humana Inc. In this role, she focuses on optimizing operational and claims processes through AI, RPA, and data-driven solutions, driving scalable improvements across complex healthcare systems. Passionate about bridging strategy and execution, Aileen leverages her expertise in Six Sigma and process improvement to align people, data, and operations—delivering measurable results that enhance performance, cost efficiency, and member experience. With a career spanning over two decades, Aileen has built a diverse professional background across travel, consumer finance, and healthcare. Her early experience in corporate travel and consumer finance— at GE Capital—provided a strong foundation in client relations, operations, and team leadership, which she has carried into her healthcare career. For the past 12 years, she has been at Humana, leading enterprise-wide initiatives and mentoring teams in process re-engineering, change management, and operational excellence. Her professional philosophy emphasizes resilience, family support, and cultural awareness, which inform her collaborative approach to leadership. Aileen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Office Systems Administration from the Inter‑American University of Puerto Rico and has completed advanced professional training, including a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Cornell University Financial Management certification. She is an active member of the Honor Society and professional process improvement networks and has been recognized by Influential Women 2026 in Denver, Colorado. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, road trips, and connecting with nature. She has volunteered extensively with women’s shelters in Puerto Rico.
