Her Interview
Ten minutes with Aisha
01What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work and discipline. I work hard for everything I have and don't take loans or use credit cards like others might.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The main thing is to listen to people. And then if you can't listen, sometimes you need to pay attention because people are not going to say everything. Some things are unspoken words.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to take chances. There's different sacrifices, you gotta choose which one you're gonna take. Try not to spend your money on things that really don't matter and put your money into things that will matter in the long term. Save up your own money instead of taking loans or using credit cards.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Taking care of my family and putting God first. Those are the things that matter right there.
