What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, perseverance, and maintaining a positive outlook, even in the face of immense challenges. My journey to becoming a licensed dental hygienist, my proudest achievement, was anything but easy. After careers in customer service and marketing, I was accepted into my program while eight months pregnant, gave birth, and returned a year later to complete my degree during a period marked by the loss of my brother, aunt, and uncle. With the unwavering support of my husband, I persevered, and today, working alongside four other hygienists in a busy practice, I find deep fulfillment helping eight to ten patients daily regain their confidence through their smiles. This spirit of optimism also inspired my new journal, What is the Fulcrum?, published this February on Amazon, which channels the everyday challenges of dental office life into creative reflection. My advice to others is simple: keep pushing forward. Even when it feels impossible, putting one foot in front of the other will lead to meaningful success.
