Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of resilience, curiosity, faith in God, and the incredible support I’ve received along the way. Moving from Hyderabad to the U.S. for my MBA was a bold step that taught me adaptability and courage. I am deeply grateful to God for guiding me through every uncertain moment, to my family for their unwavering love and support, and to my mentors and professors who believed in me. The communities I’ve been part of, both at University of New Haven and professionally, have all challenged and inspired me to grow. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you achieve, but about the people you lift, the faith that sustains you, and the impact you create along the way.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to ‘listen to understand, not just to respond.’ Early in my career, I realized that real growth and impact come from genuinely understanding people, their needs, goals, and challenges. Whether it’s a client, a team member, or a mentor, listening with empathy has allowed me to build strong relationships, solve problems effectively, and create meaningful results. This advice has guided me through every role, from client management to digital marketing and leadership positions.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

One thing I always tell myself is when you’re in the middle of the ocean, you really have only two choices, you can give up and be swallowed by the sea, or you can keep swimming until you reach the shore. The path won’t always be easy, and there will be challenges and uncertainties along the way, but resilience, perseverance, and faith in yourself will guide you through. Keep swimming, stay focused, and don’t be afraid to take bold steps, because the shore is always ahead, and your efforts will take you there.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in any field right now is how fast everything is changing, new digital tools, platforms, and client expectations. It can feel overwhelming at times, but it’s also exciting. These changes give us the chance to be creative, solve problems in new ways, and really connect with clients on a deeper level.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are connection, growth, and purpose. I believe in truly connecting with people, listening to understand, supporting others, and building relationships that make a difference. Growth is important because I see every experience, challenge, and role as a chance to learn and evolve, both personally and professionally.
