She currently serves as Senior Meeting Planner at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc., where she leads the design and execution of high-impact events, ensuring seamless experiences for clients and attendees. Her expertise spans event strategy, program management, and technical event production, with a strong focus on healthcare meeting compliance.
Prior to her current role, Aiysha held positions including Event Experience Manager, Program Manager at EVERSANA ENGAGE, and Meeting Planner roles with organizations such as eNOVA, Sudler & Hennessey, and ClinicalMind. Her experience encompasses managing both in-person and hybrid events, leveraging tools like Cvent and DocuSign to streamline event operations. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the passion and love I have for my work. My career began as a professional dancer, and while preparing for performances, I discovered a fascination with the behind-the-scenes coordination that brings a show to life for the audience. That same attention to detail and commitment to creating exceptional experiences has guided me throughout my career in event planning.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Work hard, set clear goals, and remain persistent. If you dedicate yourself fully to your vision, you will see those goals come to life.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is balancing the demands of my clients with personal time for family, friends, and my beloved pet, Nightwing, a sugar glider who has been with me for 10 years. An exciting opportunity for me personally is combining my love for animals with my skills in planning to eventually open a pet sanctuary in the future.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being fully present and engaged in the moment is essential to me. I value creating meaningful experiences for clients, which has led to some extraordinary moments—one of the most memorable being the opportunity to lead and interact with a pack of wolves, an experience that reminded me of the importance of connection and attention to detail in every endeavor.
