What do you attribute your success to?
I truly believe my success comes from loving what I do. Before I ever planned a meeting, I was a professional dancer. Being on stage taught me discipline and presence—but it was everything happening behind the curtain that captured my heart. I became fascinated by the timing, coordination, and teamwork required to create a seamless experience for the audience.
Watching a production come together showed me the power of thoughtful preparation and intentional design. I realized that when every detail is handled with care, the audience doesn’t just attend an event—they feel it.
That perspective has stayed with me throughout my career. Whether I’m planning a healthcare conference or a corporate program, I approach every event the way I once approached a performance: with precision, creativity, and a deep commitment to delivering an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to believe in themselves and give themselves permission to grow. Work hard, yes—but also be patient with your journey. Set clear goals, stay curious, and don’t be discouraged by the learning curve. Every experience, even the challenging ones, is shaping you.
Most importantly, know your worth. Your voice, perspective, and leadership matter. If you stay committed to your vision and continue showing up with passion and integrity, you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of building.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges in my career is balancing the intensity and responsibility of event planning with being fully present for the people who mean the most to me. My work requires precision, long hours, and constant problem-solving—but my greatest joy comes from the moments I spend with my son, Javian, my brother Troy, and my beloved sugar glider, Nightwing.
Javian inspires me every day to lead with integrity and to build a legacy he can be proud of. My brother Troy has always been a source of strength and encouragement, reminding me to stay grounded and resilient no matter how demanding the season. And Nightwing—my tiny companion of 10 years—has been with me through career milestones, late nights, and life transitions. His gentle presence is a daily reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple joys.
Together, they are my foundation. They keep me centered, motivated, and grateful.
Looking ahead, one of my most meaningful aspirations is to one day open a pet sanctuary. It’s a dream that beautifully brings together my professional expertise and my heart for animals—creating a safe, thoughtfully designed space for animals in need. Inspired by Nightwing and supported by the love of my family, it’s a vision that feels both personal and purposeful.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being fully present and engaged in the moment is essential to me. I value creating meaningful experiences for clients, which has led to some extraordinary moments—one of the most memorable being the opportunity to lead and interact with a pack of wolves, an experience that reminded me of the importance of connection and attention to detail in every endeavor.
