About Aja
Aja Rail is a learning and development professional with more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She began her career with Anderson ZurMuehlen Certified Public Accountants & Business Advisors, where she served in administrative and operations roles and developed a strong interest in training and employee development. Her responsibilities expanded to include compliance tracking, coordinating training programs and special events, and traveling between offices to train administrative teams during tax season.
In 2023, Aja joined Spiirall by LCvista as a Learning Success Specialist, transitioning her experience in accounting operations and training into the learning technology space. In this role, she supports public accounting and consulting firms by helping clients effectively use learning management systems and access high-quality professional development content. Her work includes client onboarding, software support, user training, and helping organizations take advantage of system enhancements and learning resources in areas such as leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, and technical skills.
Aja was promoted to Learning Success Manager in July 2026, where she continues to focus on customer success, learning technology, and professional development. She brings strengths in project management, customer service management, learning and development, administrative training, and compliance. Beyond her professional work, Aja is committed to serving her community and has been recognized as Volunteer of the Year by her local United Way for providing technical support to Hometown Helena, demonstrating her dedication to helping others through both her professional expertise and volunteer efforts.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to 15 years of experience in accounting, continuous learning, and embracing new opportunities. My journey from corporate administration to Learning Success Manager at Spiral by LCVista has allowed me to grow professionally while helping accounting and consulting firms strengthen learning and development.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received has come from the many excellent mentors who have guided and influenced me throughout my career. Their support, insights, and encouragement have helped shape my professional growth and success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. This is a rewarding field where you can build a successful career through experience, perseverance, and a willingness to learn from challenges along the way.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my role is finding enough time in the day to effectively lead, support, and guide others. At the same time, it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping others grow and succeed.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are teamwork, service, and making a positive impact on others. I find my work rewarding because I help clients succeed with learning management systems, while my volunteer work allows me to support my community. Outside of work, I value spending time with my family and friends and enjoying hobbies like kayaking.
