Aksa Lima

Aksa Lima is an entertainment executive and filmmaker with over a decade of experience in the film and entertainment industry. Born and raised in a Brazilian favela, she earned a full tuition scholarship to study film and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Sao Paulo, Brazil. After opening her own production company at a young age, Lima began directing and producing commercials for major brands including Samsung, Sony, and Disney. She later expanded her company to the United States, where it now operates alongside her Brazilian base. Lima is developing her first feature film and has secured three intellectual properties based on Brazilian books for adaptation. She recently received a grant to support the development phase of her debut feature. As an MBA candidate at USC Marshall in Los Angeles, she continues to grow her leadership while representing Brazil at events such as South by Southwest as one of ten selected production companies. Lima is passionate about creating opportunities through the intersection of business and creativity, and she actively mentors youth by giving lectures in public schools in Brazilian favelas.
