Alana Corwin

Alana Corwin serves as a senior business consultant and is the current president of Iowa State's Entrepreneurship Club. She began her work in the entrepreneurship scene in 2024 through collegiate pitch competitions and has since taken on leadership roles while completing her studies, which she started in 2022 as a hospitality management major for two years. Alana also completed Iowa State's pitch accelerator program. Through her role at Cybiz Labs, she partners with local and national businesses to solve a variety of problems in team projects. Drawing from her experiences in pitch competitions where she was often the only woman advancing, Alana founded her independent consulting practice to support women, particularly those with families and other responsibilities, in developing their business ideas, setting long-term goals, and building brands and websites. Her approach begins with personal consultations to understand each client's life and aspirations, ensuring tailored guidance that helps them feel they belong in entrepreneurial spaces.
