Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of courage, consistency, and self-trust. I chose a path that challenged me instead of one that felt familiar, and I committed to learning it deeply. Showing up prepared, staying curious, and doing the work even when recognition wasn’t immediate helped me earn credibility over time. Equally important was honoring the artist in me—creativity taught me how to see problems differently, stay resilient, and lead with empathy. Together, discipline and imagination have shaped how I grow, contribute, and stay grounded in my purpose.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that I can be anything I want, regardless of being a woman or coming from any cultural background. It reminded me to embrace my ambitions without shrinking them to fit expectations. I learned that confidence follows action—not the other way around—and that showing up prepared, curious, and willing to stay in the room builds credibility over time. That mindset gave me permission to pursue challenging spaces fully and without limitations.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Enter the industry knowing that you belong there, even on days when it doesn’t feel welcoming. Invest in learning the work deeply—preparation is your strongest ally—and don’t confuse discomfort with incapability. Also, don’t focus on trying to prove a point; focus on doing the work well and letting consistency speak for you over time. Speak up even when your voice feels unfamiliar in the room and never dim your ambition or individuality to fit in—the industry doesn’t need you to become someone else, it needs the perspective you already bring.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the ongoing need to expand who gets invited into the conversation—especially women and voices that don’t fit the traditional mold. There’s still work to be done in creating environments where diverse perspectives are not just welcomed but expected, and where competence is recognized before assumptions are made. At the same time, that challenge is also a major opportunity. The industry is evolving toward more inclusive leadership, innovative problem-solving, and holistic thinking that blends technical expertise with empathy and creativity. For me, that means we have space to redefine what success looks like, elevate collaboration over competition, and build projects that reflect both purpose and impact.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, curiosity, and empathy guide everything I do—both professionally and personally. I strongly believe in making a difference, and I strive to ensure my work creates impact beyond immediate outcomes. I value doing the work with honesty and intention, staying open to learning, and treating people with respect. Creativity and service are equally important to me; creativity keeps me grounded, while giving back through community-focused and service work reminds me that impact isn’t only measured in results, but in how thoughtfully we show up for others. Above all, I value alignment—making sure the life I’m building reflects who I am, not just what I do.
