About Aleksandra
Aleksandra Lason owns and strategically leads Let's Cook Edits, a media company she co-founded with her husband. The company specializes in video editing services, branded content creation, and an employee-generated content program that trains staff at Fortune 500 companies, such as Adobe, to become content creators. Both Aleksandra and her husband attended film school in Canada before launching the business at a young age. After early growth that took them from Canada to Los Angeles and later Vancouver, they recently relocated to Austin about a year ago. Aleksandra credits the company's achievements to their strong partnership, the lack of fear that came with starting young and without other responsibilities, and the growth that resulted from moving to new locations that pushed them outside their comfort zones.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute a lot of our success to my partnership with my husband. We started the company young and naive with no fear filter and no responsibilities other than the business, which was the best thing. Moving to new places like California and now Austin put us in uncomfortable positions that helped us learn and grow.
