She is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance and is a certified Notary Public. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the mentorship, guidance, and support I’ve received throughout my career, particularly from the late Denise Newman. Her encouragement and willingness to share her knowledge of the insurance industry provided me with a strong foundation and the confidence to navigate complex challenges. I’ve also been fortunate to have supportive Managers at Acrisure who continually motivate me to do my best both professionally and personally. I am devoted to my family, my 2 kids in particular who are my best friends and make me proud every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received came from my mentor, Denise Newman. She always encouraged me to learn as much as possible about the industry, remain proactive, and take the time to understand the details of every situation. Her guidance taught me that success in insurance is built on diligence, consistency, and genuinely caring for your clients.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the insurance industry is to always put your best self forward and pay attention to even the smallest details, like emails and communications, as they matter more than you may realize. Once you immerse yourself in the industry, you will discover a career full of opportunities, growth, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is my most important value, and as a proud mother, my children inspire me to keep striving for excellence. I also prioritize building strong relationships, whether with clients or colleagues, and making complex concepts clear and understandable. Beyond work, I value experiences with my family, travel, Latin dancing, reading, and caring for my three adopted cats. I am also passionate about giving back through causes such as the Humane Society and animal foster programs, helping animals find better lives.
