Her Story
About Aleta
Aleta Pushnya serves as a Research Analyst in the financial services industry, a role she has held for just over two years. Her path to this position began with an early interest in neuroscience, which she connected to the financial markets as the nervous system of the world. This perspective initially drew her toward biotech investing, though she ultimately pursued her current work at the intersection of finance and AI instead of completing a PhD in biology. In her role, Aleta leads the sourcing and manager due diligence for the firm's OCIO business and supports its AI research arm. She is a member of 100 Women in Finance and emphasizes the importance of trust, loyalty, honesty, and open-mindedness, noting that the latter is not commonly seen in finance. Aleta advises young women entering the male-dominated industry to not be scared, particularly when engaging with senior executives.
